U.S. MODEL 1807 FLINTLOCK SPRINGFIELD CARBINE

Flayderman & Co had one and now I want one! 1202 were made under contract to the Indian Bureau between 1808 and 1810. Reportedly some were converted to cadet carbines. Of course, some were converted to percussion. Ok, a repro would be fine, after all, I can't afford $8000.00 for this one. This is what I was thinking of when I got the Brown Bess carbine. 33¾ inch barrel, .54 caliber smoothbore, proportional lock... James D. Julia had/has one, too. Then I found that the Rifle Shoppe has parts! I wonder if anyone out there would make one for me.
