Notes from the gun shop...

It turned out to be a busy day.  The boss man left a couple of times and it was just the two of us.  We still managed to do 9 transfers today.  Also had a bunch of customers with questions.  The intern didn't come in to work today either.  Neat guns?  Not so much.  We did have to return a consigned HK P7M13 because the owner wanted too much money (north of $1500) and it wouldn't sell.

I think the highlight was the young lady who came in today, her 21st birthday, to buy her first handgun.  She got a Rock Island 1911 in .45 ACP.  I also sold a Winchester Limited Edition 1885 in .45-70.  These have the tang sight.  I had almost bought it myself.  Cost after tax was $999.75.
