These shoulder bags for Maxpedition look good to me. I've been using a US Army butt-pack with universal shoulderstrap as a sort of modern possibles bag. I carry all my hunting stuff in it and find it more comfortable than packing a ruck. Some folks like these and I've seen a couple out in the "wilds" of the mall (face it, Mrs. Hobie can make me go). they are using this as some sort of macho man-bag. I want to use it for hunting. I'm going to put an FRS in the cell-phone spot. A water bottle would be nice and there should be plenty of room for my other "stuff".
