I've long been a fan of the Russell Canadian Belt Knife from Grohmann of Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada. By the way, that's a nice place to visit. I've had mine since 1973 and it has been well used and well cared for. Today I received my Rifle magazine and lo and behold there is a review of the Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife. Cold Steel cut the cost by using a polypropylene handle and nylon sheath so that the MSRP is a pleasant $16.99. However, you can find the knife even cheaper than the Swedish Army knife or for as little as $9.27. I've got two on order but paid $9.31 each because I wanted immediate shipping. I'll test one and likely save the other for my grandson.
